I seriously don’t see the big deal. I’m White and I actually think these white people jokes are funny, these kinds of jokes shouldn’t even be taken offensive. It’s not the whites fault, it’s not the Blacks fault, it’s not the Hispanics fault, it’s the users fault for taking these jokes in an offensive manner.

Funny thing is, most people think the term comes from our skin color being close to the color of saltines. We are also just as bland. But I personally find the real meaning almost as offensive as the N-word. The person who would walk the fields with a whip whipping slaves to keep them working with haste was known as the cracker, as in the crack of the whip. It is actually implying that you are racist, and abuse people of other races.
